How to include "Call or text" on RSVP's

Sierra, on July 16, 2014 at 5:12 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 3

I know it isn't the traditional thing to do, but I feel like most family members will reply by the RSVP card, but most of the younger people attending would be more likely to just text or call with their RSVP..which is fine with me.

I'm about to give the information to my invitation printer but first I need to decide on how to word it.

My invites will be fold and seal with the detachable RSVP card.

Should it say something like:

Kindly respond on or before

September 5, 2014

M__________________

Number attending ___

Sorry, cannot attend___

or Call/text Sierra at 555-555-5555

Or should I word it differently

    I hand wrote on my RSVP cards: Call/Text 308-888-8888 or e-mail kayla*****@freeemail.com

I've had texts, e-mails, and some people are mailing back. I think your wording it fine
