How to include 15 month old?

Allie, on April 28, 2019 at 4:56 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 6
How can we include our 15 month old in the ceremony? We would pull him down the aisle in a wagon, but my cousin did that at her wedding (and we’re getting married at the same venue she did. Don’t wanna copy her!)

Our son will be about 15 months at the wedding and he’s our ring bearer.

My nephew will be 18 months at our wedding and will be our ring bearer. My sister (his mom) is one of my maids of honor so I have her walking in last so that they can hold hands if he won’t go down the aisle alone. I also attended a wedding 2 weeks ago where one of the ring bearers aunts or grandma got him started down the aisle and then he took off running down it shortly thereafter.

Could he be in the procession with one of your wedding party members, or be brought in just before the procession with the parents? If you are hesitant about making him ring bearer he could always carry a sign - WeddingWire's flower girl and ring bearer pinterest board has a lot of really cute ideas

My 9 month old niece is going to be our "flower girl". My sister (matron of honor) will walk down the aisle holding her, and throw some petals, then hand the baby off to her father to sit down.

Maybe someone can hold him and walk him down, and he can hand the ring box to your FH or best man? I think I saw a wedding where they had a kid go down the aisle in a remote Power Wheels car lol.

Hi Allie! Have you decided what role to give your son in the ceremony?
