How to honor my brother?

Hi everyone!

My fiance and I will only have a best man and maid of honor up there with us. It's my best friend and his older brother.

My little bro is my only sibling and I'd like to include him in some way. He will be 18 by the time of our wedding. What are some thoughtful ways I can do that? I'm very close with my brother and want him to feel special on a day we've all been looking forward to.

Do you have someone to walk you down the aisle? Could he do a reading? Escort your mom or a grandparent down the aisle?

I have an older brother and he wasn’t a groomsman so he just walked down the aisle as part of the wedding party but similarly to how parents walk down the aisle.

My dad will walk me down and my grandma will have my grandfather. I think I'll have him walk solo, maybe just after my parents and before I walk in?

I have 2 older brothers who are not groomsmen! One is officiating the wedding, the other is an usher and will be walking my mom down the aisle.

Who is walking your mom down the aisle? He could definitely do a reading! Or at the reception, he could be part of your dad's toast/ blessing/ speech.

You could have him usher or ask him to make a speech at the reception. You could have him take over for your DJ to announce you as a married couple for the first time.

I dealt with the same thing! I decided to have my older brother walk my mom down during the ceremony since he wasn't a part of the wedding party. We still offered him a tux, same color as the guys just a different color tie, so he felt included.
