How to hide extension cords?

Jessica, on May 31, 2016 at 10:22 AM Posted in Planning 0 2

Hey all!

I'm having an outdoor wedding in July and I'll have a lot of light decor. I plan on wrapping two trees with white Christmas lights and having an iHome out by the ceremony area for the music (obviously, lol). What I wanna know is, for those of you who've had outdoor weddings, how did you hide the extension cords? I'm getting married at my grandparents' house and the reception area will be across the driveway from the house so how could I sort of hide the extension cords leading from the house to the dining area? Should I even try to hide them or just tape them down on the driveway to prevent falls? I'm at a loss here because I don't wanna be able to see them or notice them very much, at the least, but I don't know what else I can do.

I would try and get green extension cords. If its at night, you wouldn't even notice them. If they are a tripping hazard put a rug over them or you can try to tape them down, not sure how well that would work outside.
