Anyone ever get wrinkles out of a tulle wedding dress? How did you do it?

If I were you I'd take it to a seamstress to get it professional steamed.

I agree! Go to a pro to get it steamed.

I'd start with kicking out your FH for a few hours and taking a really hot shower and hang it in the bathroom. It should really help release the wrinkles

I got wrinkles out of tulle (my Mom's old veil that I displayed) by using a portable steamer machine that a friend of mine lent me. It did take awhile :-) Good luck!

Hi Toni!! Getting wrinkles out of tulle is actually fairly easy! My go-to is always taking it somewhere to have it professionally steamed. This is one of the safer options as you know that someone who has worked with the fabric extensively can't get it straight. Alternatively, hanging the dress up while a hot shower is running is an easy way to steam the dress without running the risk of damaging the fabric!

Did you purchase your gown from a bridal salon? Have you checked to see if they could do this for you?

The only thing to watch: Whether you hang the dress in a steamy room, post shower, or steam it, use a fan, in a dryer space, to blow through the dress after. Thoroughly dry, it will not grow milder spots when you put it under plastic, or in a closet.
