How to get this tiara to stay on?

Rachel , on October 10, 2018 at 7:51 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 12
So I ordered a tiara with no combs, it’s about 6 inches long and definitely isn’t secure on my head! How the heck do tiaras like this work?!

It looks like it might be one that you tie a piece of ribbon to each end then tie the ribbons together?

It’s definitely not the kind of tiara you put ribbons on (I always imagine flower crowns having ribbon), it would look kinda weird with this one.

But yeah I’m stumped! It’s super pretty though so I’m motivated to make it work somehow!

Use bobby pins. The large ones. I believe that is how my hair dresser is securing mine.

You can use Bobby pins through the loops then nobody will see anything!

I agree with Bobby pins. I’d take it to my hair stylist and get her thoughts on it.

How big are we talking? I was thinking bobby pins had to be the answer but with regular bobby pins it seems like it would stay open and not clamp onto my hair.

Yes. They are just larger than normal. The grip should be better. And they will not stay open.

I thought about that but it doesn’t wrap far enough back to be able to use a comb but maybe it would work just fine?
