How to get excess glitter off of a tulle shrug?

I don't have any tips for getting off the excess glitter, but if you want to keep any more from coming off, lay the fabric out and spray with hairspray! Let it dry, give it a shake, and apply again if needed.

Hairspray, particularly aquanet, or even a low grade spray adhesive could help. My grandmother swears by aquanet which you are more likely to find in a craft store than the hair care aisle. My MoH used a spray adhesive, let it dry and then ran it through the wash on a super glittery shirt i got her and it worked as well.

I would think so. It might take more applications since the fabric isn't as absorbent as cotton/polyester or something like that. Just be sure to keep it away from any open flame lol
