Hi everyone, we had to postpone our big wedding on May 23rd if this year to next year, but we still want to get married on our original day. With the Covid-19 all of our government offices are closed in sonoma county. Can I still get a marriage license online? But don’t you have to pickup in person? I need help

Hi Lauren! So far the only success story I've heard from California is Brittaney who was able to go to the Pop Up Marriage Services location in the Honda Center in Anaheim:

A lot of other counties around the US are also starting to institute new procedures for applying for marriage licenses, given how long these government offices have been closed! Definitely keep checking the Sonoma County Clerk website to see if they add new info!

Some county office are offering virtual marriage licenses. Check your county or the one closest to where you are. I know Riverside County is virtual and San diego county is by appointment only.
