How to find a hair stylist?

I am getting married 8 hours away from my house. (Wedding is in Durango CO) How do I pick a hair stylist, more importantly how to I find someone who will come right to the venue to do my hair? None listed under the vendor list on here are near my venue. Do I just call salons and ask if any stylists will travel?

Try styleseat.com and call the ones that come up to see if they will come to you

Stylists definitely travel, so I'd call some of them! My hair and makeup team traveled to NC from Richmond, VA, and several of my wedding vendors were from Charlotte which is a 2.5 hour drive!

You can also ask the wedding vendors you already have booked if they have any recommendations!

I second @TIFFANY. Search on Style Seat. Also if you have any social media (i.e. Instagram) hashtag things like #DurangoHairStylist or something similar to find pages of stylist displaying their work.

Have you tried Yelp? Just type in Wedding hair near your venue and start calling around.

I found that my venue was amazing at giving recommendations for vendors. They know who does a great, professional job. I would maybe ask them if they have any recommendations or ask friends who have gotten married in the same area.
