How to dress groomsmen and fathers/grandfathers

Mrs. L., on March 12, 2013 at 6:44 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 4

If my fiance decides to go with a tux, his groomsmen would get the same tux. Should the fathers/grandfathers where the same tux also? (I know its "my opinion", but I want to know your opinion.)

Does the same apply to suits? Should all groomsmen, fathers and grandfathers all match? (Obv groom would be different).

My FH and groomsmen are wearing tuxes, with vests and bow ties. My dad is wearing a nice black suit and neck tie. They don't have to all match, but should look nice with the rest of your wedding party.

We went through Men's Warehouse for our tuxes. We are having all mean wear black tuxes (and the same style.) The differences are in the vest colors. The groom is wearing white vest and tie. The groomsmen are wearing watermelon for the vest and tie (to match the bridesmaid dresses.) And, the fathers are wearing silver for the vest and tie. I do not think it really matters for the grandparents...I decided to not go back that far! Hope that helps!
