How do you determine party favors? Candy, gifts, flowers, etc... what did y'all choose?

It depends on your theme, budget, and your crowd. A lot of brides and grooms may say favors are pointless because guests leave them behind, but I am doing favors because my guests will gladly take more than one if someone forgets or purposely doesn’t take the favor home. However, if your budget is low there’s no need to have favors as well as they will not be missed. I am going to have Sunday Brunch wedding so I’m doing coffee mugs as my favors which is perfect as my family are coffee fiends and always in need of more mugs.

I'm not doing favors! We do have a photobooth, so the photo strip is kind of their favor! In lieu of favors, we put that money towards the open bar, which we know our guests will appreciate more! Smiley smile

Don't feel obligated to do them if you really don't want to or can't think of anything you love! Better to save money to put towards something you're really excited about! I decided that if I wanted to do favors, I would only do something edible. We are having a morning/breakfast wedding so our favors are individual bags of coffee and hot chocolate and tea!

I think something unique to your venue or wedding is more thoughtful than just doing a favor to have a favor. We did gambling chips since we got married at a casino. Similar to the PP who did coffee mugs for a brunch wedding. Its unique to the day.

We skipped them! We spent the majority of the money on good appetizers, food, open bar, and late night snacks! We figured guests would appreciate it more.
