How to clean polyester wedding dress?

I am wanting to clean my 100% polyester wedding dress at home.
It is mainly just the bottom that has dirt and sand in it. I want to clean it, because hopefully in a month or so we will have a little ceremony and reception with family that could not make it to our wedding.
I would love some tips on how to clean it myself. I can’t afford to take it to a cleaner.Thanks in advance!! Stay safe everyone

Hi Abby! Are there visible stains once you've gently brushed off any lasting debris? In general stains are supposed to come out of polyester pretty easily, so here's hoping you'll get lucky! 🤞 Is there a garment tag you can check for care instructions?
