They will probably also need your email, and they will likely email you a contract stating that they don’t do returns or exchanges.

So I ordered my dress from a designer in the UK after I fell in love with his designs on Pinterest and Instagram. We set up a Zoom meeting to consult. During that time he showed me dresses, explained the process and I told him about my body type. We then designed a dress together. I got my measurements from the seamstress I'm using for alterations. The process went really well. I got my dress in and it looks amazing! I think as long as you are confident in the dress and them as a designer I say go for it.

I've ordered a dress directly from a designer using whatsapp! I got my measurements done by a seamstress and a fee weeks later I had a dress that fit me perfectly!


You just really need to find a good place to get measured really!
