How to Balance My Side-parted Updo?

Daughter wore her hair in a very similar style; however, she had braids from both sides of the part (it doesn't look like your hair is braided on the left side of the part). Also, she wore a sparkly headband just behind the braids at the top of her head and then the braids covered the lower side edges. Because the hairband went across the entire top of her head it helped balance out both sides.
