So I will be over 12 weeks preggo at the wedding and we haven't told any family yet. (Only my best friend who is coming knows) I thought it would be fun to tell everyone at the wedding. None of FH's siblings have any children, and this will be his father's first grandchild, so it's pretty special,...

What would you ladies do to make it happy and special and memorable? I don't just want to walk in and say "We're pregnant, now lets dance!" Haha! Thanks ladies!! Smiley laugh

Awww congrats my gf did the same thing at her wedding... she stated it over a toast and when they went to say cheers she said

"everyone have a drink for me because WE'RE PREGNANT"

Yeah, I figured you were too early. Shopping would be the best part of being pregnant Smiley smile

Could you do your first (or second) dance to a baby song like Martha mentioned and have the DJ announce it at the end? Or (since for some reason I can't let go of the cake idea), can you have a "grooms" cake with a baby motif or even the ultrasound picture and roll it out after you cut the real cake and announce it like that?

Haha! FH has already picked his groom's cake, its the only thing he picked, and he said he HAD to be Wisconsin Badgers (we are from Wisconsin), so that wouldn't work either. I can't deny the man his Badgers cake, although I do really like the cake idea. I REALLY wish I could do a pink or blue inside! Smiley laugh

First off, congrats! I like the idea of the toast or going to each table and telling everyone personally.

Your 9 year old must be excited!

I just found out that I am five weeks pregnant, and our wedding is only 25 days away. We are keeping it a secret from all of our friends and family, then during the reception we are passing out gifts to all of our parents to have them open at the same time. Once they open it, it will be a little one-sie with a message written on it such as "Grandma est. Nov 2016" or something cute. So after they all figure it out, then we will make the announcement to everyone else. They are still the first to be told, and we have a perfect opportunity to capture their expressions for life via photo and video. I'm so excited!
