How to address the envelopes

Anna, on July 5, 2019 at 1:11 PM Posted in Planning 2 16
I am 100% overthinking this but how did you/ will you address save the dates and invites? Will you write guest information manually? Will you print simply labels? Will you get the guest info printed on the envelope? Help! Lol

I just wrote them myself! Took a few hours, but it was much cheaper. I did it while watching TV lol.

The company I ordered our save the dates from (magnetstreet) printed the addresses on our envelopes for us! I am going more DIY for the invites, so I will either handwrite them or order clear address label stickers. The company Avery has a website where you can upload all of your guests addresses, design the sticker, and then they print and send them to you or you can print them at home!

    The Smith Family

I used Tombow brush pens and calligraphy-ed all our envelopes. I'd been wanting to try modern calligraphy, and this was a perfect excuse - I watched a few youtube videos and printed out tutorials to trace. It took a little practice, but I'm really happy with how they all came out.

We printed addressed on Avery labels (yay for free office supplies, haha). We addressed them:

    John & Jane Doe

    John Doe

    John Doe and Guest

    Doe Family

We hired a girl on Etsy to write ours in Caligraphy, here is a link to her shop. It was $$, but SO WORTH IT, and we have gotten a ton of compliments on our invitation envelopes.

My mom used her cricut to “write” the addresses for me, since neither of us have the best handwriting

We paid a local woman to do calligraphy on ours for guest addresses, and bought a stamp on Etsy for return address!
