So I finally decided on a dress after realizing that part is not as huge of a deal to me and I didnt want to spend a ton. I found a very cute one that I love online at a site I've ordered from before (uniquely vintage) they had fast shipping on my last order. So my question is when should I order it? I'm pretty sure it could use some tailoring. (My first order was for NYE and some other events and it fits fine but certainly could fit better in parts). I'm hopefully on track to loose weight, so should I wait another few months or just order it now? Thanks lovely brides!

If your wedding is in October, I would go ahead and order it now.

As long as you can return it, I'd order now. I ordered my dress online for my November wedding and I'm happy I did because it needs a TON of alterations.

Hi Kelly, I would order it now, better to be safe than sorry if you love the dress, and alterations can take months sometimes, can you post your dress? I love seeing everyone's dress!

That's the dress. I always want a shorter dress since I was certain my venue would be in the redwoods and outdoors. I found my venue (indoors but still in the mountains) and dont feel a long dress is very me.

I'm going to add a butterscotch petti coat underneath and wear plum colored shoes since our colors are:

My wedding is 10.10.20 and ordered my dress 3 weeks ago. It’s scheduled to arrive at the end of the month.

I’d order sooner rather than later especially if it’s coming from out of country.
