Married ladies and those soon to be wed, are you going to try to conceive right away, give it some time and or not at all?

We planned on having a little one after marriage. Got married in July this yr and the love and joy of the moment was so intense around the wedding and after, nature just fell into place. We are excited as you can't really plan the timing of these things. But when it falls in your life it's TRUE blessing to embrace. ♥️♥️

My fiancé and I are planning on waiting 3 to 5 years as we will be close to our mid twenties when we get married and we want to have some time to spend together and travel before having a child.

We will be trying to conceive about six months after the wedding. We were planning on starting right after the honeymoon but now we are moving out of state again (friggin military) a month after the wedding and I feel like it would just be too much all at once. I will be 33 when we get married.

The plan right now is to wait around a year after the wedding. I think if I were open to trying right away he would be on board for it, but I want at least a year of marriage down before switching gears into family mode. I'll be almost 27 when we get married and he'll be 30. The hope is to have our first by the time he's 32 at the latest.

We're waiting until 9 months after the wedding to try again for a girl (we have 2 sons). We thought about trying right away but I have a very big NO LATE PREGNANCY (6months & up) DURING THE SUMMER rule (I was born in July and so was my younger brother. I hate the heat and I especially hate the Georgia heat lol)

Pre-Covid, we wanted to get married, enjoy the summer, and then start TTC probably 3-6 months after the wedding. Unfortunately because of Covid we had to delay our celebration by a year. So even though we legally married on our original date, we didn't start TTC until later than planned because I didn't want to be very pregnant or immediately post-partum for our wedding celebration.

We are in our mid-late 30s, so if we had been younger we likely would have wanted more time to enjoy married life before TTC. In my ideal world I would have married in my late 20s/early 30s and had at least a year to enjoy marriage before TTC.

We waited just under 3 years after getting married as we wanted to build some financial and emotional stability (we got married when I was 24) and we decided to not try/not prevent and see what happens. Our first daughter is 10 months now!

I love the honesty! My husband and I have had the same conversation recently, but no one else I know has the same mindset.
