How should i decorate my banquet hall? i

I really want my wedding to look elegant and clean , my colors are sage and cream but i fear the banquet hall colors will clash and theres a red wall where the sweetheart table is supposed to go. The lower level is the cocktail space and I really have no idea how to decorate it either! No tape or tacks allowed on the walls . Any advice on how i should decorate? Does anyone know any NJ decorators that would be able to work with this? How should i decorate my banquet hall? i 1

You could setup a curtain backdrop in front of the red wall! Something like this:

That will help hide any walls or parts of the venue you don't like.

You can search decorators on WeddingWire or other sources who can aid in getting a nice look. If you figure out a look you want, then there maybe you can just hire people to do the labor. If you have to rent tables or basic items, maybe those vendors can help.
One option for hiding details you do not like is to get some lightweight dividers. You also possibly could get trees or bushes which you could also use for tying a rope across to hang banners (or just cloth).
Are you going to have a large crowd such that the whole room is used or do you want to make the room a bit cozier? If you have control of the lighting, you may darken the lights and use colored lights to highlight areas you want for guests.

Thank you that looks so beautiful! I was thinking of doing a tall pipe and drape and then do something like that behind the sweetheart table !
