I know that it's going to be a super emotional day but I honestly don't want to be that blubbering bride who can't make it through her ceremony or look like I'm in pain trying to stop the crying and then puffy eyed during our pictures and reception.

Anytime I even THINK about our wedding day, or if we listen to songs for the day of, I just get super teary eyed and emotional. Does anyone have any good tips to help me keep it together AT LEAST til after our pictures?!?!

I am a super emotional person and I cry watching movies and shows all the time. Before the wedding when I would listen to our first dance song I would cry, but on the day of the wedding I didn't. I almost cried walking down the aisle but once I got up there with Josh all I could do was smile. I was so happy and giddy that I laughed and smiled like an idiot the whole time! haha Just because you think you will cry doesn't mean you will. You will have totally different emotions that day and you might just be like me, too happy to cry!

If it happens, it happens. You don't want to be so focused on trying not to cry that you're unable to concentrate on the moment.

I didn't think I'd cry, but tears came out of nowhere during my vows. Every guest (and I spoke with all of them) thought it was beautiful and it had a lot of them crying too. My makeup was totally fine even though the tears had streamed down my face. Just be sure to bring a hanky to the altar and dab, not wipe, away the tears.

I cried the second I saw him as I walked down but once I got up and looked at him I was good and just couldn't stop smiling, I teared up a little when he was reading his vows crying but I made it threw my vows pretty good...you will be fine it's an emotional day that makes it more real!!

Hey, I cry at everything, including my own ceremonies. It's not a bad thing! Focus on each other and the words being said, and if you cry, you do! Enjoy every minute!
