How necessary are welcome signs?

I just realized I don't have one for my reception. But it doesn't seem super necessary. Our ceremony is in a historic theater so I made playbills for ceremony programs. I printed them at home so it really didn't cost me any money.

I could probably make one before the wedding to stick at the reception. Are you all having them?

    The only time I feel like a welcome sign is needed is if the venue has multiple spaces, like a banquet facility, and there are different events going on in those spaces.

    I’m having one but only bc I had some extra time and money to deal with it. I wasn’t originally going to have one but our engagement ended up being so long once we set a date I thought why not.

    We’re not doing any of the extraneous signage. It’s just extra money to spend IMO.

    I'm not doing any signs. I don't think it's necessary. People will know they're going to the right place when they see other nicely dressed people entering haha.

    Okay cool. I have T&J or Tori and Jesse all over the place so I think they'll figure it out. Our reception is in an art gallery and when you walk in boom reception. Its right at the front.

    Welcome signs are helpful for big and confusing venues. Mine is pretty straight forward, so I'm not having them.
