There's no hard and fast rule on this...I say just grow it out! Smiley smile That's what I did, just so my hairstylist had more possibilities to work with. Good luck!

I dont really know how fast and it can be different for all people, BUT I notice that once I cut my hair, it grows like an inch within the next month (like even a trim).

The day after my wedding I cut 6-7" off my hair (I was so sick of it by then!!) and already, its grown about 1.5" that its somewhat in an awkward stage and I need another trim.

So long story short... maybe a trim would help? =D

I think you can. Start taking prenatal vitamins, or Biotin (it's generally cheaper and can't cause accidental "you're pregnant?!" moments).

The adv is 1/2 inch a month though it is different for everyone. so you should be able to do it. Good luck!

Its different for everybody. Mine grows really slow. have you considered a clip in hair extension? If the color matches yours no one will know Smiley smile

Also- everyone's hair has a natural "stopping" (really just slowing down) length. It sounds weird and I have no idea how or why, but each individual persons hair will significantly slow it's growth once it gets to a certain length. once my hair passes about my armpits i could not cut it for a year and you'd barely see a difference. I doubt your slow spot is shorter then a ponytail- but hair does change as it grows.

Get hair, skin, and nail vitamins. I took them after I had a bad haircut and my hair grew out super fast. I have been growing mine out for a few months now for the wedding and cannot wait to cut it short again after the wedding. Also talk to the girl doing your hair. My girl showed me how long I needed to grow mine out for the look I wanted.

I think that you have time.. in the last year my hair has grown a good 8 inches. Also, definitely start taking vitamins. I take the prenatal ones and they're great! I'm never going to stop taking them because you only have to take one and they don't have that pee smell that most vitamins do!! haha. Also, my doctor said its completely ok to take them, and actually she wants me to take them because its better for the baby if you take prenatals alteast 6 months before you get pregnant! No harm in being prepared just in case and they'll definitely help grow your hair!

It really varies person to person, but regular trims (every 6-8 weeks) help, as do taking certain vitamins (like prenatal vitamins.

I was told by a few people to start taking prenatal vitamins. I have short-medium hair with layers I am trying to grow out so I can do a up-do. Plus my nails are shot and not that strong ..they said that they will help with that too. Been taking for a month now. We will see I did get a trim a couple weeks ago to get the dead ends off the last hair cut was in Jan. Good luck with growing your hair out...this has been one of my stress out moments in May because my FH thinks the nape of the neck is the sexiest spot on a woman and likes when I have my air up.. So I want to have the best style on my wedding day.
