How much did your bridesmaid dresses cost?

You mean $450 total for three dresses? Most brides don't pay for the dresses, unless you are in Europe.

I gave my girls a choice of about 10 dresses on Azazie. They each chose a different dress at price points ranging from $99-$119.

EACH?! That's SUPER pricey for a bridesmaids dress! Are they paying for the dresses themselves or are you covering that for them? If they are paying, did you discuss a budget ahead of time with them?

If someone told me I had to buy a $450 dress to be in her wedding, I'd probably have to step down.

ETA: If that's the total for 3, it's not bad. Though you still need to check in with the BP to make sure they are comfortable with that.

If the BMs are buying the dresses, you should ask each one privately how much they can afford for the dress and alterations. Then you find a dress within the smallest budget.

I got that exact dress for my two BM’s except it’s in Juniper! I didn’t have to pay for it though because they’re both my sisters and my dad graciously offered to buy them

$450 for 1 dress? That's crazy. Did you ask your BMs for a budget before you picked them? I guess if they all agree its fine but, I certainly would decline to participate if I was asked to buy a dress this pricey.

I purchased the dress for my MOH (not necessary but, something I wanted to do for her). It cost $40.

These dresses are about 149 each. They were 179 but there was a 30$ discount. My bridesmaids agreed to pay for their own dresses but we didn’t talk budget. Should have 😑

Have you ordered them yet? If not, you need to contact each one privately and find out their budget ASAP. Do not pressure them to agree to pay for this dress. If the dress is within all of their budgets, great! If not, you will need to find something else that is within the lowest budget or put money towards the dresses to make up the difference.

If you've already ordered them you should still contact them all and find out. If the dress isn't in budget you'll need to see if you can return it or pay for it yourself.

The dress is very pretty but, for some people, $150 may be too much still.

We got our dresses on Uwdress.com for about $80- I think $100ish with shipping. I have worn a bridesmaid dress from there as well and it was beautiful and comfortable

That's a ton of money for one dress, my wedding dress was $650!

My girls paid $32 for their dresses, no alterations needed!

I think ours were $160 each from DB, but they ordered them during a $30 off sale.

$220-240 I think but we got 25% off for each dress. We paid for their dresses

My bridesmaids got their dresses from convertibledress.com $55 and my moh got hers from asos $60

My girls got that exact dress but in marine blue. I think it was no more than $180, and some of them got it during a sale too (they also texted each other whenever there was a sale). It was within all of their budgets too and they paid for their own dresses. Before looking for dresses, a budget needs to be set and the dress needs to be within everyone’s budget (i have 8 bridesmaids and all 8 told me no more than $200)

The dresses my bridesmaids picked ranged from 150 to 120. Even with that price, I felt bad they had to pay so much. I couldn't imagine more.
