How much did you all pay for wedding invitations?

I’ve been looking to get my wedding invitation suites made but I haven’t found anything online (Shutterfly, Zazzle, etc) that I love. My mom and I went to a paper and print company over the weekend and I fell enough with this very pretty invitation suite; it’s elegant and romantic and it fits our theme of Italian elegance and romance. The caveat is that I was quoted $1400, which is almost double my budget. Womp Womp.

Anyone know where I can rent out my first born?! LOL jk jk
How much did you all pay for your invitations? Any recommendations for websites I maybe haven’t thought of?
I’ve tried these websites:

Everything is just meh. Help! Below is the look I’m going for!

Try Etsy! I ordered some from there for my friend who's getting married. I'm a graphic designer so my plan is to design both our Save The Dates and invitations myself and print them for less than $200 at Costco haha.

The printer i have is old, from 2006 HP 1400 series all in one printer/copier/scanner, but still runs like a dream! this was a rough draft one, the actual ones were not smudged,( i touched this one a bit too much before the ink was dry. )

I don't know about that exact look but that reminds me a lot of some invitation samples I got from theknot.com. I can't tell you about pricing because we didn't end up going with them (it can't have been too bad if I even considered it) but if you're still struggling to find something it might be worth looking there.

I'm in this DIY group on FB,and they are really gifted with their many crafts,so I'll be asking for someone in that group to assist me. Otherwise,I'll be looking into esty. I'm not going over board on our invitations, because they'll get thrown away afterwards.
