View Quoted Comment Yes it is. We are going to Ocean City, Maryland for a few days (Easter break). We are taking it early bc our anniversary falls in the middle of the week and we will not be able to days off to celebrate so we decided to celebrate it during Easter break.

View Quoted Comment Keep searching! You'll find the right one. Have you considered non-traditional venues, such as historical libraries, museums, aquariums, city parks, community halls, etc? Those are typically cheaper than traditional venues, and will likely have better availability.

I reached out to at least five venues until we decided on the one we wanted. It's a glass ballroom set in a garden setting.

I toured about 5 -- but the venue I picked was the first one I visited. I knew as soon as I stepped on the property that it was "the one," but continued to tour venues just to make sure/I didn't want to seem lazy by picking the first one I saw. But when you know, you know I guess.

I don't have any photos handy, but one this I liked is that you automatically pick a plan A, B, and C in case of in weather issues or other unforeseen events. So I like that my venue had the ability to still host my "dream" wedding no matter the weather.

View Quoted Comment My husband and I had a similar experience when we first toured our venue - we looked at 4 venues in person, and our venue was the third one we visited. As soon as we saw it, we knew it was the perfect one for us. Awesome that you have multiple options at your venue to turn to in case weather isn't ideal!
