How many venues?

We looked at a few online and 3 in person before deciding!

I only Looked At One Venue In Person-And That Was The One I Went With.

I Did Get A Lot Of Information And Photos From Other Venues Too.

I looked at a lot online. But when I found this one, we went to actually view it in person and loved it

I researched a TON online -- so many that I lost count. We only visited two, and booked the second one.

One. I went to location alone after work to do a hardcore tour and spend some time in my mind eye. I didn't want to be rushed. I was blown away and new from the first step on the property my guests would be awed. I called my guy and told him, we came back that Saturday and he loved it. Couple days later I signed the contract. Then I brought my mom after signing because I want my husband's and myself to make this choice alone. My mommy loved it more than me. She's bougie. If I can be honest brides were black and she's done really well for herself and is the head of her whole family since her parents died. I can sometimes let her opinion ruin me. Not this time my sis, mom, n fiance are all about the locale!!

Just one, but we didn't really "tour"...

Before my FH and I started dating, when we were still "talking", he ended up coming on vacation with me, my mom, and another friend to this little coastal town that has a ten-day festival every summer in their city park. The park has a covered pavilion and is on the water. We always just "knew" our reception would be there (church ceremony). So when we got engaged, I emailed the city coordinator and found out the dates it was available and went from there. Never looked anywhere else (though we did try to find a backup venue in case of rain...haven't found that yet).

We looked at 1 physically, 3 virtually! We did a virtual tour with our 1st choice and then went to their Open House where we booked that same day (& received 3 free perks!). I felt a little guilty about it since I didn't physically look at any others but we both loved it, it fit every one of our needs, and it was so beautiful so I'm happy we did it.

We booked the second venue we toured.

Just 1. We just knew it would be perfect and it fit our budget. I just couldn't picture any other place. I looked at others on here but we never toured. We went from having an in state destination wedding so to speak to local cause of costs.

7: campus club, museum, hotel, ballroom, mansion, restaurant and country club.

Looked at and spoke with maybe 50+ (not kidding) online and on the phone. Went to visit 4. Thumbs down on 2, then finally decided on one. To be fair, this was during the quarantine, so it made it a lot more complicated since a lot weren't available to look at then.

We looked at three venues

I looked at least a dozen or so online and we physically toured 6.

We booked the final one we looked at. It was very much a toss up between the first and the last, but the final one was more budget friendly with more things included.

We physically toured 3 venues, but I had 5-6 in mind. I had been looking at venues for a while, and we went for the first one we toured. It was perfect, and it fit our budget best. I would do a lot of online research first for your preferred area, and only tour your favorite (top 5 max) so you don't overwhelm yourself or start to mix up your venues.

I think a big thing to keep in mind other than budget, size restrictions, etc. is the vibe you get from the onsite coordinator. That is how we easily crossed off one venue, the coordinator felt way to car salesman like, and our favorite venue had a more laid back and conversation feel.

We looked at 6. We fell in love with number 4 but unfortunately it would've been too tight with our guest count. The 6th one we looked at wasn't originally one we wanted to look at but I'm so glad we did!! We instantly fell in love. It is perfect!!

Only 1. I fell in love with it right away and knew it was just what I wanted. The view is gorgeous and is going to make for some amazing wedding photos.

TLDR; I found the one right away, but I visited 5 venues in-person.

I checked out, like 35?? via WeddingWire. I fell in love with my current venue immediately, but it was more than I wanted to spend so I kept looking.

In-person, I got to check out 4 venues before New York was locked down for quarantine. I virtually snooped around my dream venue but stopped myself because of the price. Then I got COVID!

I decided life was too damn short not to have the wedding I wanted, so I went ahead and checked out my dream venue in-person when they reopened about a month ago. Sure enough, I got "the vibe" as soon as I stepped on the property. The best part is that I found out that *much* more is included than I thought, so it's actually a pretty good deal! We booked two weeks ago!
