How many people comfortably fit at a 5 foot round table?

8 people. As @Sarah said, you can fit 10, but it won't be comfortable.

We have 60 and 72 inch tables at the venue where I work. I suggest eight to nine people at a 60 and up to 12 at a 72. I think more than nine at a 60 gets too tight. Once you have your place settings and decorations on the table it can get tight.
