It kills me when everyone in my family is telling me I Will Get My Money Back Because They HAVE TO Fully Refund You its not your fault you have to cancel due to coronavirus.

Just wondering how many of your vendors are giving full refunds if you cancel, how many are keeping your deposits. And how many of ur vendors do u lose money either way whether you cancel or postpone.
Businesses are not required to give any money back especially not the deposit if its non refundable. My family is being naive and ignorant and it really pushes my buttons.
How are you guys dealing with it

I hear you. There’s just so much uncertainty. I’m even scared to send out invitations for September.

We finally got a new date of October 3rd. At first I wanted to send invitations as a send the date + invite all in one swoop but now im not so sure. i texted everyone to save our date and invite to come soon. Im going to wait until end of June to see what kind of restrictions there will be in the fall. Who knows maybe we will only be allowed 50ppl. I wanted to know a little more info so we dont have to uninvite ppl. But if we have no choice then it is what it is and i think ppl will understand.

Makes sense. I think I’ll wait until June too just to try and know a little more. We might just elope if there’s restrictions in place. Im already exhausted from planning once 😭.

Yes! This! We were hoping to elope on June 4th at the court butt I have a feeling courts will not be allowing weddings in june. I live in California where nearby counties enforced an extended shelter in place so mine might be next. Im probably going to have to make getting married in our backyard a first option instead of a backup. Then we will do our church ceremony and reception in October. If we have to postpone in October we will cancel. At least we tried!!
