My desire to leave happened last year but I was knocked down during a work conference from an attempted burglary and the kindness of my manager made me stay. Now that the wedding is done the more I keep realizing the job makes me feel miserable. We are crazy short staffed. For the past 5 years I have worked in my organization I have been the first official employee in my department and still am the one employee under my manager of 4 years. How many of you are thinking of leaving/switching industries?
