I have 10 BMs and FH has 10 GMs and I’m happy with my choice. I have a total of 6 sisters and one brother, I wasn’t going to leave out any of my siblings. The other four are my best friends, my brother will be amongst the groomsmen. Do what you want, don’t allow personal opinions dictate your decision.

Hey Jacqueline!! Personally, this does not sound like too many bridesmaids or groomsmen! I have seen wedding parties with as many as 11 on each side and it looks great. I think it's most important to be happy with your decision and do what you are comfortable with. If you would like to add two more bridesmaids then go for it!! Where did the others purchase their dresses from? Can the two girls you're thinking about adding put a rush on their dresses?

At this point it might be best to keep the bridal party as is. The 2 new ones might feel like "after thoughts."

I think that you should have as many bridesmaids as you want, just realize that it may look silly if half your guests are your bridal party, lol.

Since you would be adding 2 later than the others, be aware they could feel left out that they were asked so much later than everyone else. I currently have 4, but will probably be adding one more. My FH decided he wants 5 groomsmen and am too ocd to have uneven sides. The person I plan on adding is not friends with anyone else and therefore has no idea when I asked the others.

It’s your wedding, if you want 2 more of each, then go for it!! As long as the girls have time to get their dresses, I don’t see why not

Go for it if you want them in the wedding. I have a lot because I have a lot of siblings (7) and I am pretty close to all of them. I also have my business partner I was his groomswomen and then I have four friends. My fiance has agreed to take all four of my brothers but I might keep one either way it's puts me at 8 or 9. It will be fun.
