How long to solder rings?

So I just got married. My wedding band is a curved custom band, so I want to get the two rings soldered together to fit just right. Those that have had it done, how long does it take? Do the rings usually get sent away? Having just got married, I don't want to leave the rings for too long. If it helps, my rings came from Jared.

I got mine from Jared and it took a day.

Jared does theirs right at the store. I got mine from jareds and they resized it within 2 to 3 hours.

If you go to a local jeweler, it could take only a couple of hours, depending on how many people are in line in front of you.
