When do you need to tell your caterer by?

When is your final number due to the caterer? Back up 1-2 weeks from that for your RSVP date so you can reach out to those who don’t RSVP. Also, your invites shouldn’t go out until July if you’re getting married in September.

Send the invites about 2 months before your caterer deadline. Give yourself a week to track down any stragglers. So if your caterer needs the numbers by Sept 15, make the RSVP date, Sept 8. Send the invites out mid July.

When does your caterer need numbers? Are the numbers allowed to go up or down after that date? I'd work backwards from your deadlines to see.

I gave myself a month before the wedding day (RSVPs due March 28th, wedding on April 28th, seating chart due to venue due April 13th). For me, a month before gave me time to chase people down (some people wait until your deadline to mail RSVPs back) and a full week to work on my seating chart before numbers were due. And my numbers can still go up (not down) until the 23rd.

I have them due about a week before my venue needs final numbers. I'm getting married September 16th, final numbers are due September 2nd, RSVPs due August 27th, my invitations are going out early-mid July.

My wedding is also September 22!
We are sending invites end of May, beginning of June (probably end of May bc I’m soooooo excited)! The rsvp deadline is August 1.
Our caterer needs numbers by August 22 so this gives me 22 days to wait a little and then reach out to anyone who I might need to.

I did 2 weeks before the final numbers were due so I'd have a little time to track people down if (when) necessary.

Date twins! But I won't be sending ours out until July and have the RSVP date for Aug 31st. Our venue needs to have the count 8 days before the wedding.

My FH’s grandma is making all of our floral arrangements for our wedding present. But we just need to sign the dj contract, figure out cupcakes, get him to pick his GM, and just all the accessories for the BP. There’s probably a few other things we need to do that I can’t think of on the top of my head, haha.
