how long is too long to wait for a vendor to get back with you on a quote?

It's been too long - find another who wants your business.

Too long, I think a week was the longest for me and I was antsy!

Too long, this gives a bad idea of how they might be on your wedding day and you don't want that stress!

To long. My florist (and most of our vendors) responded within two to four days.

I say a week. Mine had my quote done the next day.

Definitely too long. Find another florist!

That's too long. I had one that every time I contacted her she kept saying she was still designing my wedding this went on for two weeks. I never got a quote so I moved on.

I would say a couple of days, but I have no patience whatsoever.

The only hang-up with this one is that I used to work for this florist in college. He is a premier local florist and in high demand, and was so happy to see me when we met and treated me like an old friend. Based on our conversation when we met, (and the vibe he gave my planner) would be willing to give us a KILLER deal. I would never be able to afford them at their regular prices. So I hate to move on when I think he might hook us up...but then again I can't wait forever!!

48 hours tops!

Definitely too long. If your planner followed up twice and you still haven't heard anything it's a huge red flag.
