How long have you and your future spouse been together?

We have been together 4 years, and he proposed on my birthday in may! We say "I do" in june!

We met online in 2009 talked for a while, then went seperate ways for a little bit and reconnected back in 2011 and started dating. Then in Nov 2015 he proposed and our wedding date is still not 100% set yet and I'm fine with it

We have been together 19 months. Both of us have been married before and found each later in life.

View Quoted Comment I totally agree with what you said. The descriptions were on point! My first love and I were together for 3 years and almost got married. I was so devastated when we broke up. While I was trying to move forward I was introduced to this guy through FB (future hubby). We started chatting and we’re supposed to meet in London while on layover but it didn’t push through as something came up on his end (he was deployed there). A few days after I got home I attended my elementary reunion where I met my second love. Future hubby and I stayed friends on FB even when we had our own relationships. But he admitted that he would sometimes look through my pictures and wonder what if we met that day? After a few years I broke up with my ex who have taught me so much from all the lies, cheating and not treating me the way I should be treated. I also lost contact with future hubby as he had deleted his FB account (he’s on cyber security). Fast forward to last year our same friends who tried to set us up 9yrs ago gave him my IG account. We started talking again but this time consistently and for hours everyday. He asked me to be his girlfriend on our first date because according to him he waited long enough to be with me. After four months he proposed. We are together for 8 months now and I couldn’t be happier to have found my soulmate and the love of my life. He is everything I prayed for in a partner and more. I thank God everyday for giving me the man that treats me like a queen. Next year we’ll get married after knowing each other for a decade.♥️

I met him 10 months ago, and after 4 months of him struggling to persuade me that he was my Prince Charming, I finally said f*** it. I couldn't not fall for him when he was so convinced that we belonged together.
