Have you and your future spouse been together forever, or did you find each other later in life?
My fiancé and I met each other in January. We started dating officially on Valentine's day and he proposed in September. When you know, you know! The moment I met him I knew he would be my forever.

We started talking to eachother freshman year of high school for me junior year for him but officially started dating summer of going into my senior year 2011. We've known each other since 2009 so we've been together since forever. We celebrated our 8 year anniversary of us dating and next month will be our 4 year anniversary of us being engaged. When we started dating he was very persistent on never getting married because he believed marriage just fails due to his parents having a bad divorce. But I knew he was the one and I wouldn't leave due to that. 4.5 years later into the relationship he proposed. I was completly shocked because I didn't know he had that kind of feelings for me. Now we're looking for our first home then going to plan our wedding.
We've been together for about 4 years ♡ but we met before while I was looking for a job. I didn't want to admit it at first plus I was dating other people back then, no interest in him at all as something more than my best friend. After the horrible hurricane Maria left us invisible for a while, I noticed I couldn't get on with my days knowing zero about him. We were under no water, no electricity, no gas, very little food, curfews until 6/7pm and no clean roads to move on thanks to so many trees and floods. But just as quick as the next day of the hurricane, I told my mom I had to go check on him, even though I'd never been to his house or met his family. I just wanted to make sure his family and him were okay, and that if they needed any help to contact us. He wasn't expecting it when my mom pulled up in front of his house with her black car completely filled with dirt. After that visit, I finally understood everything. Sometimes where there's disaster and when you can't find a single spot of enlightment, there's also some light to guide you through it all, and I found myself noticing he was my light all along. Every journey from hurricanes and college to finding a job, having huge family and mental issues, he was holding my hand and rooting for me all along. After everything that event marked on me, on us, he was my light. And we made some horrible and hard recovery months as well and enjoyable as we could. He helped me try to make the best of every single day after that and started including each other blindingly. Next thing we know, we're not hiding it from anyone any longer. Moved last year in and already celebrated our one year anniversary of living together.
We met a lil later... after learning a lil more about ourselves. I now have a 9 year old daughter and we are all so happy together. We have been together for 4 years now and will be 5 by the time our wedding gets here.
