How long does it take to get marriage license copies?

I am planning on marrying at the courthouse and having a ceremony at a later time. How soon after this can I get copies of my marriage certificate?

Depends on your particular jurisdiction. Where I got married, you can go to the county administrative office with signed marriage documents and they made certified copies immediately.

Yes,it depends. We were told don't request until 3 weeks after. You could go in to request after that or have it mailed. I had them mailed so it then took another 1-2 weeks after that

I got mine immediately. Previous marriage i had to wait 2-3 weeks. Two different states. Each state has different rules.
