At least a half hour is what my photographer recommended. The groom and groomsmen are usually done faster so they can do 30 minutes with no issue. Perhaps you can separate 30 for the groom and 45 for the bride so there’s some cushion time. Otherwise 30/30 should work but no less than that.

I only want photos from the last 30-45 minutes of getting ready. No need to have photos of me in my pj's drinking mimosas, you can see that on any given Sunday lol. Toward the end maybe a few photos of the finishing makeup touches or my mom and sister helping me get into my dress.

I don't even want a getting ready photos.... I don't need to remember this stressful and ugly moments. But to answer your question - I also know that they will take around 30-45 min top

We are not doing getting ready photos but the last wedding I was in we had 4 Bm's plus the moms and it took about 40-45 minutes.

There are some great articles that offer young suggestions for photos from wedding photographers. I have read about an hour is given for preparation photos and half hour allotted for individual photos. Speaking with your photographer about the specific photos you desire will enable your photographer to give you a more specific time estimate. Happy planning!

I was actually wondering the same thing lol but I think 30/30 should be good, that way you can get your pictures of you and your BMs finishing up and the groom and GM getting ready.

Yeah I probably did a bit less than 30 minutes since we were running late. My photographer basically stated that I would really be ready. The photos are staged, my mom buttoning up the final buttons and things like that. It's not real getting ready pictures which might be less glamorous haha and you may not want your photographer to be there for that.

I plan to have mine come at 11 and our first look is around 1... this will also give her time to get the reception area pictures of everything setup also.... I really just want a photo of my soon to be step daughters helping with the veil... last minute makeup touches and some photos in the hotel room with the girls.... my photographer said to plan to have the bridesmaids in their dresses already so they look cute while helping you get dressed!
