How long did it take to do hair and makeup?

I just did this for a friend. I'd allocate at least 1-1.5 hrs for you alone. Doing a trial run beforehand will make sure that it can be done in that amount of time. An hour for each of the others should be good. So maybe 4-5 hrs total?

We just did trial runs & it took 3hrs to do just my hair and makeup alone. I never would have imagined it taking so long, definitely do a trial run!

I suggest doing a trial at home, and then multiplying the time it took by how many people you have.

I just hired my (long-time) hairdresser, no makeup artist. For the hair, my hairdresser said that I (the bride) will take 1 hour while anyone else will take 30 minutes each. This may also depend on how complicated you wanted you want the hairstyles. I just want simple hair styles for the bridesmaids and a half-do for myself.

I have hired makeup and hair. Makeup said 45 minutes a person and hair said 40 per person. They are both waiting until closer to the wedding to decide on theor start time as they want to know what time the photographer wants us ready. I have 7 girls, including me, getting hair done and 4 girls, including me, getting makeup done.

My trial run took two hours for both. A little over maybe.

Our hair and makeup took nearly 6 hours for 6 people getting hair and makeup done and that was with a team of 4.
