How long before the wedding are you getting pampered?

melbooks, on March 25, 2017 at 11:50 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 21

Getting nails done, pedicure, facial, waxing, or anything else you may be doing? Is the week before ideal?

I don't want to get things done too soon but also won't be able to do them the weekend of.

I'm getting my hair roots, nails, and waxing done 2 days before the wedding. I have been getting waxed for years though so I know how my body reacts, I wouldn't recommend it that close to the wedding if someone isn't used to it. I'm getting a facial a week before.

My plan so far is to do a facial a week or so before, eyebrows 3 days before, mani/pedi the day before. I'm not waxing, at least that's not the plan right now. Great question!

Eyebrows and facial about a week out. Nails a day or two before, I don't want to need them done too soon after.

I'm doing a facial the week before probably, then some masques leading up to the day, all ones I use regularly. I'm doing my nails and waxing the day before, but I know my body has no sensitivity the day after the wax.

I'm getting a pedicure the Monday of, Mani Tuesday before (I'm doing SNS so it wont chip), facial Wednesday of, Eyebrows, hair, and airbrush tanning Thursday before. I made sure to be done with pretty much everything so that the week before the wedding I can get pamapered.

I got a mani/pedi the night before the rehearsal dinner, so about 2 days before the wedding.

Hair color and trim 2 weeks before.

Mani/pedi day before because I'm a notorious klutz and I'll break a nail.

I'll do my facial and mask two weeks to a week prior. That'll leave some space for all the impurities to come to surface after the mask. I'll do pedi and mani a few days before, the gel will last.

Not doing anything with my hair. Wax will be a week before most likely.

Nails will probably be day or two before because I get married on a Friday and I will be working Sunday Monday Tuesday that week and being a nurse the hand sanitizer and washing tears up your hands, and I swear the hand sanitizer eats away our polish.

Loved the question and responses. I never thought to plan it out like that. I did read something that said not to try a new facial regimen the week of your wedding. So keep that in mind if you're not one to normally get facials!

@Candis That is so important! One of my friends got married last year and got a facial a few days before her wedding. She had a terrible reaction to the product they used and luckily got it under control before the wedding. It's just one thing you don't need to happen during a stressful week!

I'm getting eyebrows and bikini waxed 6 days before because my skin gets so red from it. Pedicure 2 days before and a manicure the day before with my BP, FHs sisters, FMIL, and my mom as a part of our girls day while the guys golf

Haircut (trim ends and clean up) about 2-3 weeks before, Nails 2 days before. Not sure if I'll do a facial I have sensitive skin so I'm afraid of something happening too close to the wedding since I've never had one.
