How important are centerpieces? Wondering if i should scale back

Mine are $75 a piece (in a box like that too!) but the way I scaled back instead of needing 12 of those I am doing a variety of centerpieces where some don't require any florals to save some money! Is there another type that would compliment this centerpiece of yours??

Wow that is a lot. I wouldn't pay that much. We made all the stuff for our centerpieces and our florist is charging 25 per centerpiece.

We paid an average of $44 each for ours including the mirror base, vases, and flowers. We had two different ones, which definitely made it cheaper.

We saved money on our head table's decor by reusing the bridesmaid bouquets. The garland was rented from our florist/decorator and had real eucalyptus tied into it. It was such a steal, we paid $100 for 24 feet.

Costco is the way to go!!!

They are personal preference. I DIY'd all 8 of mine using dollar store items! If you can DIY, I would recommend it.

They are only as important as you think they are. I feel like that is a lot of money to spend on them, but that's me. If they are important to you, go for it. In my experiences, people say, "Oh, pretty centerpieces." and ignore them the rest of the night.

I stressed over my centerpieces for a while then went back to what my priorities were for the day and decided they weren’t that important. Most people in a week will never remember what your centerpieces looked like, but they would remember bad food or poor music, etc if you are looking to cut costs I think this is a great area to do it. I went with simple candles in a vase with greenery and small flowers around the candles. Very easy and not very expansive. Good luck.

Honestly, in the grand scheme of things, they really aren't that important. If you are paying for them, you get to decide what your budget per centerpiece is. For my cousin's Bar Mitzvah, he built every single one of his centerpieces out of Legos! You don't even have to use flowers! You can have tealights floating in water bowls, bowls of candy, or even baskets of toys that you can donate to children's hospitals if you want. Get creative!
