How Far in Advance Can i Buy Dried Flowers?

Congratulations! We have a similar engagement length. We got engaged in October and have our wedding date in July, God willing. 💗

Last summer I ordered Sola Wood Flowers (around July-ish) and dyed a bunch of them. I have flowers in vases around our home and they still look beautiful 6 months later. When I reached out to Sola last summer to ask how far in advance I should order them, they recommended a few months before to avoid any fading, but I honestly haven’t noticed any fading with the ones that I made last summer. I’m planning on ordering more soon (naked/un-dyed) just to have them here, and will probably wait to dye them over the summer when I’m off.

Thank you! Congratulations to you as well . I am mostly worried about crumbling, but have also heard the reverse that dried flowers aren't nearly as delicate as some people believe they are. Sola flowers I have thought about, but I am not really a "rose" person and they look more like roses to me. I'm sure your arrangements will turn out beautifully!

Either way, I suggest ordering some wood flowers from the site you’re interested in now, and trying it out. It’s a fun craft!
