How early is too early

Ariel, on August 22, 2019 at 11:09 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 6
Hey everyone! My fiance and I are getting married 8/21/21. Me being as excited as I am, I want to do the planning that I can now. So, is 2 years to early to book a place for our honeymoon? We're still looking and thinking and we think we're leaning towards going some place tropical for our honeymoon.
Also any ideas on all inclusive resorts to stay at?

Thanks everyone!

I would wait to actually put any money down on anything, but would def have everything decided once you can get a plane ticket as they are usually not available until a year in advance. Plus you mughtbcgange your mind and you don't want to lock yourself into something you can't get out of

My fiance and I are actually going through Sandals Resorts which is all inclusive and they have multiple tropical locations. I would say 2 years is pretty far out because most companies wouldn't have pricing for that far out. I would definitely look into it closer to 1 year out.

I would wait until you get closer, some places don't book that far out. Shoot for a year, or year and a half to start booking things! No harm in planning now, and maybe starting a honeymoon savings account though!

Also, maybe look at cruise options!

Congrats! . Me and FH had got engaged in JULY2018 and we are getting married October 2020. TBH we were worried about our date being taken if we booked too late because it is a pattern and FH always wanted to get married on this date(10/10/2020). So we were able to book our Venue and Photograher/video/photobooth within the months between July- Dec. We got our venue first then we got our Photograher/video/photobooth in October. We went to a lot of Bridal expos with family which was really nice to see how weddings work and such. We booked our DJ early this year I think JAN 2019. YOu have a lot of time and I wanted to do so many things because I wanted smaller payments over time.
