We had originally planned to get married on 10/10/2020, and sent out STDs early in 2020, before covid. When covid hit, we postponed to 10/9/2021. A few weeks before our original date, we decided to have a tiny ceremony (with just my husband's parents and streamed for my dad who is 1400 miles away) on our original date.
We updated Facebook, and sent an email announcement to some family, but I'm thinking we should maybe send an official announcement and share that we still plan to have the celebration next year. Do you think this is a good idea? If so, how would you word it?
Our guest list is fairly small, and I have someone who could do the graphic design for me, so the cost isn't a big deal. I was thinking of including a picture from our ceremony in the announcement.
Thoughts?
