How do people pay for this stuff!?..

While I'm beginning to get myself familiar with this whole process, of course I can't help to notice that everything is so expensive! Do vendors allow payment plans? or do they expect thousands up front? any advice?

My photographer actually doesn't require the second half of the payment till 30 days after the wedding....Of course you dont get any pics until then as well. But either way that is a weight off the pocket book.

Don't have a panic attack! Smiley winking Like everyone else is saying, most vendors are pretty flexible when it comes to payments. I was really scared and nervous about how we were going to pay for our wedding as well and what everyone told me to do first was to figure out what types of things you want and start getting together a budget. Figure out how much money you can save to put towards the 'wedding fund' each month and go from there. Once you figure out your budget, you can make decisions on what to book. Also, I'm saving quite a bit of money by doing alot myself (with help from friends/family of course!) like the save the dates, invites, guest book, flower girl/ring bearer accessories, centerpieces, most of the decorating, bridesmaid bouquets, favors, and programs. I enjoy doing arts and crafts though, so that's why I took on the projects but if you know of someone that is creative, maybe see if they could help you out with some things to save a few bucks here and there. Good luck!

For me with most things it's a deposit and full payment before the wedding.
