You can’t sent invitations from WeddingWire, the functionality is just to keep track of your guest list.

Other websites like Zola have that function I believe, but not wedding wire. You can provide people a link to the website, but I don't think you can send the link in mass from WW.

You have to have the wedding wire for guest set up first for yourself. Once that is done, they provide a code for your guest to get access to your website as well as to upload photos.

Thank you for responding Sabrina. Do you recommend any other sites for sending invitations? Like are there any sites that do it all guest list tracking, photo sharing, website, registry, checklist, online RSVP??? I don’t have a wedding planner. I need all the help I can get.

Not sure you will find one place that does it all. Zola does a good chunk of it but not the photo sharing. Check out the knot, but I am not sure of all their offerings. Photo sharing is where a good hashtag would come in handy. If you are willing to send out actual invites then you can get most of what you are looking for on WW.

Good luck on making a final decision.

If you've accumulated all the emails, you could just write up about email with the URL to your wedding wire RSVP page. BCC everyone if you only want to send the message once.

Another option for emailing everyone yourself if you want something somewhat customized (such as putting each person's name in the message) and you're MS Office savvy is to create a mail merge in Word that sends emails rather than making letters to print. I've done it a few times at work.
You might need Outlook for your email for it to send though.
I've honestly gone with Wedding Wire because I liked their RSVP function the most out of all the sites I looked into. I hadn't seen another site with a built in seating chart function. Only people you've added to the list can RSVP, but I think you can password protect too if you'd like.

Honestly didn't get far with Zola because I wasn't a fan of any of their templates and I wanted one site host that could do everything I wanted... look nice, choose what info I want and don't want (like a lot of templates come with "Our Story" pages which I didn't really care to have), allow online RSVP and tracking my physical RSVP together (because I doubt my age 60+ guests would go online easily), link registries being the big ones.

My 2nd best was The Knot, but it forced the initials of my fiance and I in all their templates (which is BJ, and my mind goes to the gutter lol). You couldn't edit the site while looking at the site, it was all a big dashboard. But for people less obsessed with customizing than me it could work out!

I don't believe wedding wire helps with invites. The guest list portion of the website is for online RSVPs after you send out invites in the mail.
