I don't want kids at the ceremony. We saw those "flower guy" videos and asked an adult female friend to be Flower Girl. She declined. Without her, we're leaning more towards no flower girl at all (it's already a large wedding party so it's really not necessary). BUT I really want there to be flower petals scattered in the aisle when I walk it (yes, even though they're dirty, can stain, slippery, etc). How do we get petals scattered before I walk without a designated person to scatter them for me?
Best idea I have so far is I could have bridesmaids carry baskets and scatter petals while they walk, but right now I'd rather have them carry bouquets so I'm taking ideas as I consider. Thanks for the help!

My friend didn’t have children at her wedding either. She has each of the bridesmaids and groomsmen scatter a handful as we walked down the isle. It was fun.

You can have it done before guests start arriving and them enter their sets from the other side depending on venue or just let the last bridesmaid entering do it they can play the too rolls. No kids in my wedding and I'm using groomsmen to do it and bridesmaid my wedding is small though.
