How do i pick a make up artist

Kayla, on September 7, 2019 at 7:45 AM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 3
I have booked most things for my wedding next year but I have not booked a makeup artist for myself and bridal party.

don’t know why I am having so much trouble picking someone? It just makes me incredibly nervous and is leaving my stomach in knots! Has anyone else has this problem and how did you pick?
Seems silly that I had no problems booking venue, photographer ect.. but can’t pick a make up artist?

Reviews and photos are your best tools. You can do a trial with them before booking if that makes you feel more comfortable.

I found mine here on WW. Read reviews and check out their website then schedule a trial.

Hey Kayla! You still have plenty of time to find the perfect makeup artist so you are definitely right not to rush into a decision. Will you require your MUA to travel to your venue? How many people will need their makeup done on the morning of your wedding?

I would definitely check out the WeddingWire vendor search tool for MUAs in your area, they will have great experience working with brides on their wedding day and you can check out their customer reviews and portfolio images before you contact them.

You can also make a booking for a trail so that you can see what their work is like and you can make changes before your wedding day.

You can find the Wedding Hair & Makeup artists here and then filter your search based on your location!
