How do i address an envelope for a friend getting married before me but after i mail invites?

We addressed a few as “the future mr and mrs ___” and then for their escort cards we put the woman’s new last name.

If it will get to them before their wedding, use their current names. If it will get to them after, use their new name.
For the seating chart use their married names as well

You can do whatever really. I think technically if you mail them before their wedding you use future Mr & Mrs but I'm not sure anyone really minds

Oh I would do “the future mr and Mrs ____” if you know they’re changing their last name, that would’ve tickled me to death to receive mail that said that!

Do I just addressed my bff/bridesmaid’s STD who will be married by the time I get married but not married yet The Future insert last name and then their first names after:
ex: The Future Smiths
Michelle & Michael

The current name when they receive the invitation is used on that address, but all seating, place cards, thank you, will be in the married names they use then ( which may be the same).

We've been getting mail as The Future Mr. & Mrs. ______ for quite a while now.

I have a cousin getting married on July 14th but I'm sending out invites July 8th. Even though its only a few days before her wedding I'm still using her maiden name for the invite. However, as PP have said when the wedding come on her seating card it will have her married name.
