Me and my fiancé went to high school together. We started dating our senior year and now will get married a week after we graduate with our bachelors degree.

We met at work and he bugged me until I said yes to go out on a non date. I tried to ignore his calls too 😂 but he was persistent

He was sitting outside a theatre on 54th and Broadway, wearing a Phillies shirt. A mutual friend/director/producer of our shows had tasked him with letting my show into the theatre.

It was love at first sight on my end, love at first 'hearing' on his - as he was not looking at me when I opened my mouth, "You're a Phillies fan, too? The Marlins are killing us right now!" (....I've jinxed us. That's all they've done for 8 1/2 years, and we're tired of it.)

We spent 20 minutes talking baseball and ignoring everyone else.

We met at work! I worked the front desk and he was security. We had a very fun time keeping our relationship *secret* for a year (until we both quit) even though we were allowed to be dating.
