"Love doesn’t have to start at a certain place for it to be true, and honestly, it’s okay to step out of the ordinary."

My husband and I met New Years of 2012. I was on break from undergraduate school and vacating in Atlantic City, NJ. My friend and I decided to go out for New Years and got all dolled up for the festivities. We went down to the boardwalk and traveled through all of the casinos until we found the perfect one where we could party all night. After a few hours of dancing, we decided to take a break and grab a bite to eat. We headed over to our favorite burger place, Johnny Rockets. As we sat in Johnny Rockets a group of guys came in and asked if they could sit with us. Little did I know, my future husband sat right next to me. After everyone ate we exchanged numbers and headed back to the club to party. The rest is history...

We met at a bar/club. He was Djing and saw me from the stage. He was friends with the friend I came with. He and his friends came down to talk to us. He invited me and my girlfriend for shots out of his trunk (face-palm, i know). He was no stranger tho, I trusted her and she was dating his friend at the time and they went to school together so i had no worries. When we were leaving.. he told me not to be a stranger. lol the rest was history.

It's such a small world, who knew your soulmate was just a few blocks away the entire time.

Oh, this one is funny. So a while back I was at a coffee shop and this guy bumped into me at full speed and spilled his coffee all over. I had an audition right after and I shouted and called him an jerk. It was not his fault, I was just pissed off. I did not land the role due to the fact that I was soaked in coffee.

Many years later, I landed a role that seemed great until I realized that I had to work with the coffee guy. Yes, I was still pissed off at the coffee thing and I was truly annoyed that I had to work with him. He took a little while to recognize me, then I got busted.

Then he actually turned out to be a nice person, then we dated, then we got engaged. End of story.

We've known each other since we were babies. But we never really got along until we were 17, can you believe it?

I met my fiancé at the beginning of my senior year in college. He was a grad student, and he had just arrived on campus. We first met when he threw a chocolate cream pie in my face! I was involved with an organization which hosted a pie-in-the-face fundraising event. I had been dreading the event, but it turned out to be one of the most memorable days of my life! After putting the pie in my face (and also smearing it in my hair), he hung around and watched as I continued to get pied by my friends. After twenty minutes, I was completely covered in pudding and whipped cream and he was still there! He helped me hose down, and then asked if I would like to get coffee. The rest is history!
